Open call for exhibition proposals

Independent curators, emerging artists and arts professionals are invited to submit exhibition proposals to be considered for the two gallery spaces at The Clemente, the Abrazo and the LES Gallery, from July 2018 to June 2019. The event is in Woodstock, NY but you can send your work as long it arrives by the deadline. Deadline is November 18th. Strict parameters so read carefully. The deadline for “New American Paintings” next Northeast edition (for artists in CT, DE, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI & VT) is August 31st. La Luz de Jesus Coaster Show Deadline Approaching!

The deadline to submit work for possible inclusion in the amazing, annual La Luz de Jesus Gallery Coaster Show is August 1st. I highly recommend grabbing some coasters and giving it a try. Just be sure to follow the submission guidelines precisely (See Launching Your Art Career: A Practical Guide for Artists, page 47 for more about following guidelines.). Zoë Coombs Marr’s article about grants in the guardian is definitely worth reading. “I’m an artist and I’ve received grants. If popular opinion is to be believed, as I write this, I’m literally sitting atop a pile of cash, lighting cigars with your children’s futures.
